About Quality Anesthesia

Quality Anesthesia provides the highest quality of care.  We help create a model that successfully balances patient care while increasing OR efficiency and profitability.  We are the answer to a better lifestyle for physician owned groups, while maintaining quality care & increasing profitability.

Why a CRNA / ANESTHESIOLOGIST model.

Studies have proven that the use of CRNA’s can provide a major asset to the institution in which they are functioning in, improving patient satisfaction and communication with pre-operative, intra-operative and post-operative care.  It has also been proven that the use of CRNA’s can increase overall profits to an anesthesia group.

Anesthesia

Our CRNA’s administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures, or during obstetrical procedures.  The Nurse monitors the patient during the procedure and adjusts drugs as necessary to support life functions. The Nurse advises the Physician when patients have a reaction to drugs during the procedures.

PREOPERATIVE EVALUATION

Our CRNA’s are trained to thoroughly evaluate each patient before surgical procedures to determine the type and amounts of medication to use during the procedure.  The patient’s history and condition is taken into consideration when making a decision regarding anesthesia administration.  The CRNA will then consult with the attending Anesthesiologist to determine the anesthesia plan for surgery.  The patient is then provided with information regarding the anesthesia that will be given and what to expect before and after surgery.

POSTOPERATIVE CARE

Our Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists manage patients after surgical procedures to ensure that the anesthesia wears off safely. The Nurse takes patients vital signs and helps patients experiencing pain after the surgery.  Postoperative care also includes providing instructions to patients and families about pain management and medication.
